Privacy Policy — Daily Dress Me

Daily Dress Me is a personal wardrobe app. This policy explains, simply, what happens to your data.

Summary

Daily Dress Me does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics or advertising SDK in the app. Everything you add — clothes, outfits, photos, tags — is stored only in a local database on your own device.

What the app stores, and where

All app data (items, outfits, photos, laundry status, achievements, settings) is saved locally on your device using a local database and the device's file storage. None of it is uploaded anywhere. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it (unless you've made a manual backup — see below).

Permissions the app may ask for

• Camera — to photograph clothes and outfits. Photos stay on your device.
• Photo Library — to pick existing photos of clothes and outfits. Photos stay on your device.
• Calendar — only if you turn this on in Settings, to add planned outfits and dry-cleaning reminders to your calendar, and to read today's events to tailor a suggestion. This stays on-device and within your calendar; the app does not send this data anywhere.
• Notifications — for local reminders (laundry, outfit suggestions, dry-cleaning pickup). These are scheduled entirely on your device.

Network requests

The app makes network requests in exactly two cases, neither of which involves your personal data:

• Weather — the app calls the free, keyless Open-Meteo API to show the day's weather and suggest season-appropriate outfits. Only the city name you choose is sent; no account or personal identifier is attached.
• On-device AI Stylist (iPhone only, optional) — on supported iPhones, an optional "AI Stylist" feature uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models to suggest an outfit. This processing happens entirely on your iPhone; nothing is sent to Apple, to us, or to any third party.

Sharing features

If you choose to share an outfit (e.g. via Messages, WhatsApp, or to list an item on Vinted), the app uses your device's native share sheet. You control what gets shared and to whom — the app itself does not send anything unless you explicitly tap "Share."

Backups

The app lets you manually export a backup (a zip file with your data and photos) to a location you choose, and restore from one. This file is created and stored only where you decide to save it; the app does not upload it anywhere automatically.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
